About the role

As an Analyst in the Home Loans tribe, your purpose will be to play a role in designing, coordinating and ensuring planned changes to our home loan systems and processes are introduced successfully to our customers, bankers and supporting users across all ANZ home lending channels.

The role is for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills. The successful candidate will be able to build collaborative relationships across the organization, independently manage tasks and maintain short and long-term projects.

What will your day look like

- Designing new systems, services, interfaces- Elaborating user stories / requirements and creating technical user stories / specifications- Troubleshooting technical issues- Collaborating with Journey Experts, interface partners, vendors and IT teams to resolve any issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent- Creating and managing technical design artefacts in Confluence and sharing those with wider audience- Develop, analyse, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for our vendor and testers to follow

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

- More than 5 years of experience- Analytical Thinking- Broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming- The ability to learn quickly- Team-working skills- A logical approach to problem solving- Excellent analytical skills- Good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail- Business awareness- A methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind and attention to detail- Presentation skills- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Planning and negotiating skills- Initiative and self-confidence- A flexible approach to work

‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

- Systems analysis, integration, troubleshooting and exposure to various workflow applications- Basic knowledge of APIs, Soap web service and other integration services is a plus- A desire to continuously learn new techniques / technologies and bring innovative ideas into the squad- Experience and understanding of agile development practices, JIRA and Confluence- Translating business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact- Designing technical and non-technical solutions to resolve a problem or meet a customer/business need- Translating business requirements into IT solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact
