Position:

Associate Program Manager (APM) - Lounges 

Location: Gurgaon

Overview:

As the APM/AM - Operation (Central Ops), you will oversee the daily operations of our lounges, ensuring seamless customer service, efficient scheduling, and high team performance. You will manage the Lounge &  waiting area teams, ensure safety and compliance, and handle inventory and asset management. Your role involves resolving operational issues, generating reports, and driving continuous improvements to optimize service quality and efficiency. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and a focus on customer satisfaction are key to success in this position. 

What you will do:

● Operational Oversight: Manage and ensure seamless daily operations of our Lounges, including customer service, bus departures & scheduling, and on-ground coordination. 

● Team Management: Lead and manage the Lounge Teams across India, ensuring high performance and adherence to operational standards. 

● Customer Experience: Deliver a superior customer experience to our customers. 

● Compliance & Safety: Ensure all lounge properties and personnel comply with Zingbus's safety protocols, legal regulations, and operational standards. Conduct safety inspections and operational audits. 

● Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance of operational assets at the lounges, including the luggage spaces, Value Added Amenities (Reading/Gaming Zones). 

● Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on key operational metrics such as punctuality,  bus conditions, and staff productivity. 

● Issue Resolution: Promptly resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to senior management as necessary. 

● Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and improve service levels and cost-effectiveness. 

● P&L Management: Own and manage P&L to drive revenue, optimize costs, and maximize profitability
by

making every penny spent worth to deliver the highest standard of services.

● Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or transportation, preferably in a high-volume environment. 

● Strong leadership and team management abilities. 

● Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

● Strong understanding of operational metrics and process improvement methodologies.

● Effective communication skills. 

● Tech-savvy, with experience using operational tools and systems . 

● A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering high-quality service.
