The position will be responsible for shaping the marketing, branding, and promotion strategy of the allocated schools by establishing strong connections with school Deans and internal stakeholders. In this role marketing manager will lead initiatives to enhance faculty engagement to build school and faculty member’s online presence and brand, showcase student, faculty achievements, school events, unique propositions of school to external and internal stakeholders, drive enrollment growth, manage the social media presence of the schools, and collaborate with central teams for innovative marketing campaigns. They will also oversee the development of compelling organic digital assets, promotional content tailored for their respective schools, ensuring messaging consistency and alignment with the institution's overall branding goals. This multifaceted role demands a robust background in social media marketing, operations within the education sector, stakeholder management, and a meticulous attention to detail, along with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and drive institutional growth through strong interpersonal skills and strategic initiatives.
KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Enrollments:
Collaborate closely with school-specific stakeholders to devise strategies that contribute to achieving target enrollment numbers.
Facilitate faculty engagement by organizing outreach sessions and aligning faculty participation in admission-related processes.
Conduct thorough analyses of school specific RTBs (Reasons to Believe) to identify strengths and areas for improvement, working collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing team to effectively showcase these attributes.
School Branding and Social Media:
Implement initiatives aimed at increasing social media followership and engagement in line with allocated targets through organic content.
Manage Online Reputation Management (ORM) platforms such as Shiksha, Quora, and TAP, Reddit ensuring a positive brand image across digital channels.
Provide support to star faculty members in building their profiles and promoting their work through social media channels.
Collaborate with Deans and central marketing teams to plan, execute, and evaluate the success of school events, ensuring alignment with overarching branding strategies.
Identify strategicalliance, projects, research happening at Schools and work closelywith Dean and allied stakeholders for getting these promoted
Special Initiatives:
Work closely with central marketing teams to develop compelling digital assets including videos, infographics, blogs, articles, brochures, and outreach decks tailored for specific schools.
Drive the creation of engaging content for the School's website, ensuring it resonates with target audiences and reflects the institution's values and offerings accurately.
Maintain regular updates on the School's website by coordinating with Deans, Faculty, and central teams to showcase relevant and timely information.
Assist in planning and executing school-specific branding activities, marketing campaigns, and projects, contributing to the overall growth and reputation of the institution.
MBA from a reputable institute or university with a specialization in Marketing or related field.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in consulting, business development, sales, or social media marketing, preferably within the education sector.
Demonstrated success in conceptual selling and generating institutional growth through innovative marketing strategies.
Proven track record of stakeholder management and collaboration across diverse industries and sectors.
Exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and editing/design tools.
Possesses a keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and a proactive, energetic approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Familiarity with social media promotion tools and strategies, with a strong ability to leverage digital platforms for brand visibility and engagement
