Job Summary:GNA Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Professional tojoin their team. In this role, the candidate will drive the company's business development efforts inthe C&I (Commercial and Industrial) segment, identify and pursue new business opportunities, andbuild strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy industry. The primary focus will be onexpanding its C&I user base and fostering collaboration with industry players to ensure the successand growth of the platform. The candidate will be traveling across India to close these deals. As aBusiness Development professional, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of theplatform, expanding the user base, and forging strategic partnerships within the energy sector.

Responsibilities:

Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Client Acquisition and Platform Adoption:

Proactively identify and engage prospective C&I clients and onboard them on GNA Energy’splatformNegotiate and close agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditionsAct as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients to:- Address their inquiries and guide platform use- Seek feedback to identify new product features- Assess and anticipate client needsBuild relationships with key stakeholders in the energy industry, including utilities, energyretailers, generators, and aggregatorsFoster partnerships and collaborations to enhance the platform's value proposition andmarket presenceRecommend strategies for new revenue streams and to enhance customer satisfaction

Market Analysis and Reporting:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and productdevelopment, to align business development efforts with overall company objectivesDevelop a strong understanding of GNA’s products, their competition in the industry, andpositioningConduct research to monitor and analyse market trends, industry developments,competitive landscape, and regulatory developments within the energy industryProvide regular reports and insights to senior management on market dynamics, userfeedback, and business development progressMake data-driven recommendations to optimize business strategies, enhance theplatform's capabilities, and drive user engagement

Additional Skills:

Strong knowledge of the electricity industry, including market dynamics, regulatoryframeworks, and market participantsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintainrelationships with diverse stakeholdersAbility to work independently and drive results, with a proactive and self-motivatedapproachStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsWillingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explorenew business opportunitiesAbility to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff membersand customers, clearly and concisely
