Leader - Project Engineering

MISSION (Why the position exists) Size: Financials Right set of Engineering competency and excellence is critical for securing orders and seamless execution of Projects with better margin in Power System solutions.To cater said requirement, for the position is critical for having engineering support both for bidding & execution stage. The person hired at this position will have key responsibilities of: a) Design support to Sales and tendering team during Pre-Bid stage. b) Attending customer meetings. c) Detailed design during project execution. d) Lead team of engineering managers POSITION OF JOB IN THE ORGANISATION NETWORK OF INTERACTION Major interaction parties : (Internal e.g.colleagues, Sales & Marketing Dept, Unions & etc.External e.g.legal advisor, customers, distributors, Clients & etc) AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (Describe the nature, scope, level of improvements to new ideas, etc.) LEVEL *(Full, Partial, Supportive) MEASUREMENT (Quantitative or quality criteria to achieve responsibility) Design Support during Pre Sales Activity Full 10% Design Support during tendering Full 20% Detailed design of system Full 70% *Full : Fully responsible for the results of the work Partial : Partially responsible for the results of the work Supportive : Provide support to the person accountable for the results of the work. REQUIREMENTS Educational Qualifications Must to have B.E.Electrical from a Reputed College like NIT / REC / Equivalent Good to have ME / M Tech / MBA Job Experience Overall Experience Atleast 15 to 20 years of Exp. Relevant Experience Person should have thorough Experience on 1) Electrical System Design Calculations like a) Cable Sizing b) Earthing & Lightning Protection c) Battery Sizing d) Illumination Calculation e) Fault Level Calculation in E Tap 2) Preparation of Electrical Design Layout Drawings pertaining with a) Equipment Layout b) Cabling System layout c) Earthing Layout d) Lighting Layout 3) Conversant to Operate Autocad is preferred. 4) Must Require: a) Strong in Communication, high convincing abilities and well equipped with Analytical approach & innovative ideas. b) Strong focus on creating differentiations and Value Add Platforming to customer / End User. c) Should be capable to identify Design Risks associated with Electrical Power Substation and Automation projects. 5) Should be acquainted to prepare Material Requisition, Technical Specification of different components of Electrical Power Distribution System COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Must to have Good to have Technical Competencies Well Conversant with Substation and Automation Project bid engg & detail engineering for medium and large project Competent to perform System Study (Load Flow, Short Circuit & Relay Co-ordination) through E-Tap Software Functional competencies a) Should have well interactive attitude to deal with Customer pertaining with techno-commercial aspects of Project. b) To meet customer's requirement with a cost optimized & technically compliant approach. c) Strong in Communication, high convincing abilities and well equipped with Analytical approach & innovative ideas Testimonials from any reputed customer.
