Khushi Baby Association is a nonprofit organisation operating in India, serving as a technical partner to health departments. Established in 2016 from a classroom at Yale University, Khushi Baby has expanded into a 90-member organisation with offices in Jaipur, Udaipur, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

Khushi Baby's primary areas of focus include digital health solutions, health program strengthening, and research & development. Its flagship digital health solution, the Community Health Integrated Platform (CHIP), has been utilized by over 70,000 community health workers and 40,000 villages, reaching 45 million beneficiaries. Among these, over 5 million individuals have been identified with high-risk health conditions and have had their health monitored at the grassroots level. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has allocated over 160 crore rupees (20 million USD) to support the platform's scale-up.


The platform has been instrumental in supporting various initiatives, including the Rajasthan Government's digital health census, multiple rounds of TB active case finding, vector-borne disease surveillance, smoking cessation campaigns, catch-up immunization campaigns, and the monitoring of over 300 labor rooms across the state. The system has been co-designed with input from over 200,000 hours spent in the field.


From a program perspective, Khushi Baby focuses on primary healthcare broadly, with specific projects targeting high-risk maternal health, child malnutrition, and zero-dose children, supporting on-the-ground implementation.


Khushi Baby's work is supported by philanthropic donors such as GAVI, the Skoll Foundation, the PJM Foundation, the Alwaleed Foundation, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding from ARM. The organization collaborates with esteemed partners including IIT-B, IIT and AIIMS Jodhpur, JPAL South Asia, Yale CarDS Lab, the Yale School of Public Health, the Public Health Foundation of India, MIT, Microsoft Research, Google Health, ARMMAN, Wadhwani AI, WHO, PATH, and the Governments of Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, as well as the National Health Authority.


Position Overview: Khushi Baby is seeking Field Monitor/Coordinator to work closely with the Field Implementation and Research Team. This role serves as a vital link between Khushi Baby and community health workers (ASHAs, ANMs, AWWs, LHVs,), Health officials (MOICs, BPMs, BCMOs) and other key health stakeholders) to ensure the effective implementation and adaptation of our digital health platforms. The ideal candidate will facilitate deployment of digital platforms, training/ capacity building of CHWs, monitor the progress of various public health indicators and HW’s performance. 



We are seeking a mature, motivated, mission-driven Field Coordinator to join our team at Bangalore location

Required qualification and Skills:



  • Masters in any discipline, (preferably in sociology or social work, health management etc.) having at least 2 year of experience working in research projects/ Survey implementations/Hospital Settings
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal relations skills with Proficiency in Kannada (mandatory)
  • Experienced in M-Health/implementation of digital health projects
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
  • Computer skills required - MS excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, PPT etc. 
  • Desirable: Analytical and presentation Skills 



Role & Responsibilities:



  • Provide programmatic input to the project team regarding customization, refinement and development of mobile application and dashboard (the Platform) as per requirement of the Health Workers
  • To conduct the field visits for scoping the need of customization and to test of the mobile App and channelize the feedback to KB program team
  • Frequent field visit to the Health and Wellness centres and to the platform implementation sites to promote adaptability of the platform and gather regular feedback
  • To support in regional language (Kannada) customization in the platform 
  • To provide necessary support in logistic preparation and facilitation of training to health officials and Health workers for operations of digital tools/mobile Applications
  • To coordinate with Govt. Health officials and other relevant stakeholders regarding the implementation of project activities as per the plan
  • To support resolving the platform/app-related technical issues faced by the health workers/officials.
  • Sharing of work progress regularly through reports and during project meetings.
  • To provide inputs in preparation of monthly and biannually project progress reports.
  • Playing the role of connecting link between Health workers/officials and Khushi Baby to carry out day-to-day activities


Remuneration 


Remuneration offered will be between 3.5 to 5.5 LPA depending on the candidate’s experience and skill sets.
