SentientGeeks is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on an urgent basis. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in PHP and WordPress development.

Applicants must be from West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha or Jharkhand as it will be WFO in Kolkata location.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of strong proficiency in core PHP and WordPress CMS.
  • Proven experience in plugin and widget development.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL in production environments will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of database queries (MySQL/SQL optimization and troubleshooting).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and widgets.
  • Implement and optimize GraphQL APIs for seamless data exchange.
  • Write and fine-tune database queries to ensure performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work with PHP, WordPress, , and GraphQL to deliver new features.
  • Ensure responsive design, security, and code quality across devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing technical support.
