Job Title: Front Office Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to oversee our front desk operations and ensure exceptional guest service. The Front Office Manager will lead a team of receptionists and administrative staff, manage reservations, handle guest inquiries and complaints, and maintain a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of hotel operations, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate front desk staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Guest Relations: Ensure prompt and courteous handling of all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Reservations Management: Oversee reservation systems and ensure accuracy in bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Check-in and Check-out: Maintain efficient check-in and check-out procedures to minimize wait times and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage front office budget, including petty cash, billing, and credit card transactions.
  • Front Desk Operations: Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Safety and Security: Implement and enforce hotel security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions for front office staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front office operations and guest feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols in the hotel industry.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
