About the PositionYou will be joining the

Cyber Engineering Team

for Our

prestigious EU clients.

Your responsibility is to ensure

privacy compliance

in all ongoing

Global product developments

and third-party procurements, by operationalizing the client’s strategy for

Privacy by Design, data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and assessments into the development workflow . The senior privacy engineer will be the go-to contact for the product and engineering teams with regards to privacy questions.

You will be responsible for carrying out day to day tasks in the

Cyber area, including conducting risk assessments, DPIAs, and securing Privacy by Design in the new digital organization . You will be required to train co-workers, working with product teams during procurement, development and deployment, and carry out awareness initiatives.

As a

privacy professional , you will also be expected to take on a bigger role in the team, by helping to train and guide the younger members, and act as a project manager for the team members in bigger development projects which involve the Cyber area.

What you bring to the table:Facilitation of workshops to conduct privacy assessments and supporting remediation activities for digital products and platforms.Innovative approaches to working with privacy and technology in the domain.Acting as a 1st line advisory service for day-to-day queries related to privacy (e.g., how to interpret data privacy requirements, assessment/ inventory queries, conflicts with local legal requirements, etc.)Ensuring the implementation of technical privacy controls for Group Digital spanning all technology capability areas.Assist in data classification, and data management initiatives, and drive the privacy agenda for this within the Customer subdomains.Do privacy awareness initiatives within the domain.

You will have plenty of opportunity to learn and to improve your profile within both privacy and information security, and you will receive training relevant to your area and for qualifying you in other areas.

Your backgroundYou have a background in either legal privacy or information security, and you have been working with privacy for at least 2-15 years. Preferably you have experience in technical compliance aspects of privacy (PhD), with conducting DPIAs and/or working with Privacy by Design or other technical privacy requirements. Or perhaps you have other experiences working on privacy risk management and compliance.You have a passion for technology, privacy laws and information security, and a willingness to work with privacy in the zone between law and technology, to learn more, and to help organizations evolve in these areas.

It is an advantage if you have a privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPT or CIPM, or have received other documented trainings in privacy. It is furthermore an advantage if you have information security certifications, such as CISA, CISM, Security+ etc.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:Privacy laws, directives, regulations and standards.Knowledge and experience of the Operational Privacy domain and best practices in technical privacy design and implementation.Knowledge of Digital Technology relevant to information security and privacy across different kinds of technology (cloud, artificial intelligence, surveillance, IoT etc.).IT development processesEffective communication and stakeholder management
