Job Role: Accountant | Chennai Company Name: Maybell India Location: Chetpet, Chennai Experience: 3 to 5 Years Salary: 20,000 to 25,000 per month Office Timing: 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM Position Overview Maybell India is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 3 5 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Tally and capable of handling journal entries, payment processing, and banking-related activities efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting activities using Tally . Record and post journal entries accurately. Handle accounts payable and receivable . Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements , and maintain payment records. Handle banking operations including deposits, withdrawals, reconciliations, and online transactions. Maintain updated financial records and support monthly closing activities. Assist in preparation of financial reports and statements when required. Coordinate with internal teams for invoice and payment clarifications. Ensure compliance with standard accounting procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience. Strong knowledge of Tally ERP . Good understanding of journal entries, payments, and banking processes . Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word). Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills. Good communication and organizational abilities.
