Design Engineer - API PumpResponsible for providing Post order engineering, and support to sales and tendering during bidding phase.Will be the single point of contact for engineering deliverables, vendor documents Review & Approval for the assigned project. The incumbent will be based at our Ghaziabad plant and will report into Engineering Manager.

Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide end to end order engineering support, as an Individual Contributor on assigned projectsReview of technical specifications, analyze nonstandard requirements and propose solutionsCreation of GA, CS , PID and 3D models/assemblies, manufacturing drawings using Solid works, AutoCADCreate Order review documentation, Prepare preliminary plan for engineering deliverable in line with project requirementsPrepare pump data sheetCreation of BOMPerform basic engineering calculations as requiredWork independently, Support / Develop Jr.engineerClosely coordinate with other functions such as project management/supply chain and Celeros global engineering teams for efficient execution of the projects.Maintain Project Documents and important communications/decisions in structured formatSolve issues identified during pump assemblyPrioritize tasks and efficiently monitor and close the critical tasksMaintain Engineering Change Notices (ECN)Proactiveness in resolving queries raised by vendors & customer on submitted documents i.e. RFQs, Drawings, data sheets, procedures etc.Contribute to develop Engineering standards, process improvements, Cost reduction initiatives,Improve Quality of engineering deliverables (right the first time) and on time delivery

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

6+ years of experience in API 610 Centrifugal pump post order engineering function.Knowledge of Electric Motor, Mechanical Seal, Seal System, Coupling , Valve , JB

etcStrong CAD skills (in Part modelling, Drafting and Assembly) in Solid works & AutoCAD should be able to work independently.Experienced in issuing BOM, RFQ, drawings, engineering documentationsAbility to review technical specifications, engineering standards and produce associated design documentationThorough knowledge of industry specifications such as API 610 / API 682 / ASTM codes etc and able to interpret and apply as required.knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine design, fluid mechanics, metallurgy etcExperienced in communication with Global clients is added advantage.Good spoken and written English skills, ability to make concise communication with clientsStrong interpersonal skills for communicating thoughts and ideas.Team working ability and an attitude of collaboration, mentoring and flexibility.Ability to prioritize the tasks, and ownership of assigned projects

Education and ExperienceBE in Mechanical Engineering in regular full-time course from recognized institute and university.More than 6 years of experience in design/order execution from relevant industry with minimum 4 years of core post order engineering of centrifugal pumps for oil and gas domain experience.Working Knowledge of 3D/2D design software’s (AutoCAD, Solid works) any other engineering software / applications would be an added advantageCeleros Flow Technology is an equal-opportunity employer.
