About Wise AI Wise AI is a Harvard–MIT-founded, VC-backed startup building population-scale health monitoring for anyone with a smartphone. Our platform measures vitals (HR, HRV, Hemoglobin, stress, and more) using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) — through any camera from any device, no wearables needed. We’re on a mission to make health monitoring accessible, seamless, and universal. Role Overview We’re hiring a Founding Full-Stack Engineer with strong experience in Zoom Apps / Zoom SDK. You will design and build core product features end-to-end — front-end, back-end, APIs, integrations — and play a central role in shaping our architecture, performance, and user experience. This role is full-time and remote. This is a CTO track and we will sponsor your O1-A visa to join us in NYC if you turn out to be a good fit for our team. What You’ll Do Build and maintain our Zoom App and full-stack platform Develop scalable front-end and back-end systems Integrate APIs and third-party services Collaborate across product, design, and research Drive engineering decisions in a fast-paced startup environment What We’re Looking For Must-have: Experience with Zoom Apps + Zoom SDK Strong full-stack skills (React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript) Experience with API development and system design Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps basics Ability to build fast, ship reliably, and iterate Excellent communication and ownership mindset Bonus: experience in rPPG or Computer Vision for Healthcare, or signals Tech Stack (Flexible) Frontend: React, TypeScript, Zoom Apps SDK Backend: Python (FastAPI), Node.js Vision/ML: OpenCV, MediaPipe, PyTorch/TensorFlow Infra: AWS/GCP, GitHub Tools: Figma, Notion You’ll help define and evolve the stack.
