Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced WordPress Lead Engineer who will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade WordPress solutions. While WordPress expertise is the core requirement, experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other headless CMS platforms is a strong plus. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and open to working across different CMS platforms based on business needs.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage end-to-end WordPress development projects, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.- Architect and implement custom themes, plugins, and integrations tailored to business requirements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, design, QA, and DevOps to deliver seamless CMS experiences.- Evaluate and recommend modern CMS solutions, including headless CMS platforms, based on project needs.- Mentor and guide junior developers, driving best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.- Ensure timely delivery, manage code reviews, and maintain documentation for technical implementations.Required Skills & Experience:- Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, plugin development, and custom theme creation.- Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript (React/Node.js), HTML5, CSS3, REST/GraphQL APIs.- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise CMS platforms.- Exposure to Headless CMS (e.g., Webiny, Concentful, Strapi, Sanity, etc.).- Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex CMS projects.- Nice to Have:- Experience migrating or integrating between multiple CMS platforms.- Knowledge of performance testing, SEO optimization, and accessibility standards.Soft Skills:- Strong communication and client interaction skills.- Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to work on any CMS platform as required.- Ability to lead and inspire a technical team.
