UnitedLex India Pvt Ltd is hiring for patent professionals to join their IP team:Position title: Sr Associate – Patent PreparationJob Location : Gurgaon / BangaloreShift timing: 8:30AM – 5:30PMOVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patent Drafting specialist to join our dynamic team to handle expansive responsibilities related to our client’s patent portfolio. The primary day to day focus will be on drafting patent applications.Candidates should have strengths in teamwork (internal and external stakeholders), quality control, and problem-solving. They must also have strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Candidates should be experienced in working autonomously/remotely from the team/stakeholders but open to seeking advice from senior team members when needed.REQUIREMENTS:B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. – Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics EngineeringRegistered patent agent is a plusLL.B. (Hons.) from a reputed law school is a plusExperience in drafting US patent applicationsExcellent understanding of US patent lawsExperience in EP, India is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with other professionals in the legal department and business teamsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and effectively manage competing prioritiesExceptional attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimal guidance and directionAbility to resolve ambiguities and provide legal guidance in uncertain situationsStrategic thinking to drive efficiencies and provide business advice and solutionsDetail-oriented with excellent judgment and analytical skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasks - dynamic, and action-orientated, which meets deadlines and makes it happenAbility to work collaboratively with onsite and/or virtual global teams.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and related software programsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Drafting provisional/non-provisional patent applications for filing in the USUnderstanding invention disclosures and preparing claims, figures, and detailed descriptionCo-ordinating with partner law firms for patent drafting and filing activitiesReviewing work products of junior team membersMentoring and training team members for drafting patent applicationsSupporting senior team members in their day-to-day activitiesPerforming other related activities as requiredPlease refer to our Privacy Policy at UnitedLex for information, ”"ISO 27001:2022 is the standard that we follow in this organization, based on this ISO document we have implemented 92 controls in UnitedLex across multiple offices and also with the help of this document we have implemented the Information Security Management System in the Organization"
