  • Prepare business Plan & ensure that all the market development activities are conducted as per the plan & budget
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Agri. input sector, including farmers, retailers, distributors, Government authorities and agricultural organizations
  • Collect and analyze market data, including competitor activities, performance of the industry, crop patterns, pest and disease prevalence, dealer and farmer preferences
  • Identify & develop the product line and the SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) based on market demand and profitability
  • Profit & Loss account owner of the division
  • Develop marketing strategies & lead the business team to achieve sales targets
  • Organize and conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and farmer training programs to showcase product effectiveness
  • Nurture and maintain long term sustainable relationships with location wise farmers & channel partners
  • Requirements:-
  • A marketing professional from Agri Input (fertilizer/ pesticide) marketing industry with minimum 10 years' experience in which 2 years as Head of the Department
  • Graduate preferably in science stream
  • Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Other: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories. Valid driver's license and own 2-wheeler/ 4-wheeler
  • Experience in leading a team of marketing professionals in Agri Input at the capacity of the Head of the department
