Overview:

Magic Moments Photography is looking for a skilled and passionate Wedding Film Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro and have an eye for detail in creating cinematic wedding films. The role also requires fluency in Kannada and English to ensure smooth communication with both clients and the team. As a Wedding Film Editor, you will transform raw wedding footage into beautiful, emotionally compelling videos that capture the essence of each couple's special day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wedding Film Editing: Edit and assemble raw wedding footage into engaging, high-quality wedding films, including highlight reels, full-length films, and teaser videos.
• Post-Production: Perform color correction, color grading, audio enhancement, sound design, and music integration to ensure a polished, professional final product.
• Creative Input: Collaborate with the lead videographer and clients to understand their vision, preferences, and any special moments they wish to highlight. Bring your own creative ideas to the table, ensuring that each film reflects the couple's unique love story.
• Storytelling: Craft a compelling narrative from the footage, ensuring the emotional highs and lows of the wedding day are captured. Use editing techniques to create a cinematic flow that engages viewers from start to finish.
• Revisions: Make adjustments to videos as per client feedback, ensuring their satisfaction with the final product. This includes fine-tuning pacing, music, and specific moments.
• File Management: Maintain an organized file system for video footage, ensuring all raw files and final edits are properly stored, backed up, and easy to access.
• Client Deliverables: Prepare and deliver the final wedding films in various formats (e.g., high-quality digital files, DVDs, Blu-rays, social media clips) as per client requirements.
• Timely Delivery: Ensure editing tasks are completed within agreed-upon timelines, delivering high-quality work consistently.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in video editing, preferably with wedding films or similar events. A portfolio of previous wedding film edits or similar work is required.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, color grading, audio mixing, and post-production processes.
• Experience with creating cinematic and emotional storytelling through video.
• Ability to work with various video file formats and manage technical aspects of editing software.
• Language Proficiency:
• Fluency in Kannada and English is required for communication with clients and team members.
• Personal Qualities:
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creative storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand and execute client needs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of various clients and weddings.
• Technical Requirements:
• A computer with access to necessary editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with file formats, video codecs, and technical aspects of post-production is a plus.
• Availability: Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required, particularly during peak wedding seasons. Ability to work under tight deadlines is essential.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 per month, based on experience and performance.
