About the RoleWe are looking for a self-driven experienced individual to join our line of Project Managers in the Planning & Development team of WSP in India. At WSP, we'll inspire and empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed today and into tomorrow.We are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager who can effectively support a diverse team whilst interfacing with our clients in the delivery of projects.As the Senior Project Manager, you will liaise directly with the lead Project Managers and other stakeholders in the UK and will work alongside a large team of professionals both in the UK as well as in India. WSP iCRC helps in the delivery of multiple projects and to manage the day-day delivery of our services. You will be the lead person of contact to the Project Coordinators, Project Managers and the Project Team. You will ensure that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost, and quality constraints. You will have a key role in project governance and will work with stakeholders to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable benefit realisation.You will also guide and mentor a set of Project Managers of varying experience levels and prepare them for the efficient delivery of projects that the team undertake.Our hybrid working policy allows the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home as well as collaborating in our contemporary offices across the UK.Core FunctionsEnsure on the safety, health and wellbeing of the project teamManage project controls through WSP and client systemsInterface with client team counterpart to determine client expectations, acting as a trusted advisorReview and advise on the contract scope and discuss with project delivery teamManagement of the interface between the Client and WSPManagement of reporting and cost controls in collaboration with the Technical Manager on the projectForecasting and cost to complete reporting to client (using client specified method and processes) and internally using off-line workbooks and online using Business World applicationDelivering risk workshops where appropriate (in line with internal and client expectations)Ensure the team are aware and able to fulfil the monthly forecast hours in line with the programmeUndertake scheduling in collaboration with the Technical Manager on the projectDeveloping KPIs for project reportingYou will ensure that quality procedures are being adhered to through discussion with the Project Leads and Technical ManagersSet up regular internal / external (in collaboration with the Client PM) progress meetingsDiscuss where efficiencies could be made to give the client 'added value'You will ensure that the project has sufficient resources to meet the demand of the programmeHave a working knowledge of hybrid Bill ,DCO or CPO processes to support technical delivery.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have:10+ years of Project Management experience within the construction planning industry;An appropriate degree qualification in a relevant discipline.Membership of a Professional Institution.APMP, Prince2 or similar Project Management qualification.Ability to interrogate, question and challenge information.Good understanding of procedures associated with major integrated infrastructure projectsProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Project (or Primavera P6)Experience in commercial contract/ project management.Experience in managing internal teams and interfacing with client organisations.Experience within regulated industries.Experience in managing cross-functional teams andExperience in engagement with engineering disciplines;Understanding contracts and experience of NEC contracts is required;About UsWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms providing technical consultancy to the built and natural environment.
