Oracle Application Testing Suite Specialist

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an OATS Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our Oracle applications.


You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test plans that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle applications using Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS).

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Oracle applications to identify defects and ensure software quality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, analyze business processes, and define testing scope.

- Configure and maintain test environments to replicate production scenarios and facilitate testing activities.

- Develop automated test scripts using OATS automation tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve issues identified during testing phases.

- Document test procedures, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.

- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in Oracle testing tools and methodologies.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Oracle Application Testing Suite Specialist or similar role.

- Strong understanding of Oracle applications and technologies, including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Applications, and Oracle Database.

- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios using Oracle Application Testing Suite.

- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Oracle Application Testing Suite's OpenScript.

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
