In late, 2019, we started the Urbanite business, as a result of which we were able to launch an EV avatar of our popular, flagship market leader - Chetak. With endless advancement opportunities and an intent to differentiate ourselves in the electric vehicle marketplace, we were focused on developing a specialized talent pool, capable of rolling-out, the first 100% in-house built vehicle, while establishing a fully owned and managed, subsidiary, called Chetak Technology Limited
Job Title- EV Vendor Process
Work location- Pune
Qualification- B.E/ B.Tech Electrical/Electronics
Experience- 5 - 6 yrs
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management
- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) processes.
- Conduct quality activities across product development stages: Proto, Off-tool/Off-process, Pre-RAR, and RAR.
- Ensure zero process rejection in manufacturing processes for components like speedometers and battery chargers.
- Product Development Support
- Apply tools such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans for product development.
- Collaborate on manufacturing documentation and ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Validate part production processes for seamless series production.
- Supplier Management
- Manage supplier relationships to maintain quality and process integrity.
- Audit and approve supplier manufacturing processes.
- Ensure suppliers meet documentation and compliance standards, including GD&T and troubleshooting protocols.
- Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement
- Use tools like QC Story, 5 Why analysis, and 8D problem-solving for issue resolution.
- Implement performance systems and conduct audits to improve process and product performance.
- Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency using world-class techniques.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Create detailed reports on quality assessments and improvements.
- Prepare presentations and maintain accurate records in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Manufacturing Process Validation
- Ensure accurate and efficient processes for analog, digital, and TFT speedometers.
- Validate battery charger manufacturing (On-board/Off-board/Home chargers).
- Establish and maintain standards for zero-defect production.
