Job Type: Full-Time No.of Positions: 1 Job Summary : An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and supporting financial operations within an organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and help with decision-making. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Financial Record keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements. Post journal entries and reconcile accounts. Financial Reporting : Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and regulatory agencies. Tax Preparation : Prepare and file taxes in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Assist with audits and respond to tax-related inquiries. Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in preparing and monitoring the company’s budget. Forecast financial performance and provide insights for cost reduction and profitability improvement. Accounts Payable and Receivable : Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections. Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments. Financial Analysis : Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance. Compliance and Auditing : Ensure financial operations comply with company policies, laws, and regulations. Assist in internal and external audits. Software and Tools : Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) to record transactions, generate reports, and track financial activities. Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, human resources) to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Provide financial information and support to management for decision-making. Skills and Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Experience : 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Technical Skills : Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS). Analytical Skills : Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and take initiative to resolve financial discrepancies.
