Role and Responsibilities:Plan and manage IT capacityAssets Management: Monitor and maintain the records of the organization & IT infrastructure, including all IT assets. Experience in any asset management tool/application would be preferred.Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on computer hardware, peripherals, and other IT equipment. Coordinate hardware upgrades and replacements as required.Laptop/Desktop Preparation: Installation and configuration of the laptop/desktop.Software Management: Install, update, and maintain software applications across the organization. Ensure proper licensing and compliance with software usage policies.IT Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, Daily, Monthly, and yearly Reports, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Create user guides and manuals for software and hardware usage.Technical Support: Provide end-user technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues in person and remotely. Ensure timely resolution of technical problems to minimize downtime and disruptions.Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and maintenance of IT equipment and services.Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions.IT Projects: Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.EPBAX: Maintain and manage the EPBAX environment throughout the campus.Deployment and management of all IT-related policies, procedures & documentation.
EligibilityB.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related fieldBachelor’s degree in information technology, CS, or a related field’s relevant certifications are a plus.
Skill Set Required:Proven experience in providing IT support and managing IT infrastructure.Strong knowledge of hardware/software and proficiency in operating systems, officeapplications, and IT management tools.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.Strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented mindset.Laptop/Desktop Support, EPBAX support, Assets Management
