Assistant Vice President, Senior Data ScientistThe focus of the Lean Digital Transformation, Digital hub team is to enable the vertical with new niche solution developments, build prototypes, focused deployments to win more business. One of the critical levers is to research and innovate with new technologies like Generative AI, Deep Learning, Cloud, Machine Learning, Analytics and Low Code Platforms based solutions.This position is for an individual who will play a meaningful role in leading digital hub team as technical program head. This person will work closely with various cross functional teams such as LDT, Analytics, Operations and Service line teams to develop and deliver new solutions, assets and enhance / replicate the existing ones in the accounts. Successful candidates will exhibit technical acumen and business savviness, with a passion for making an impact through creative storytelling and timely actions.This role is part of the Hi-Tech business vertical and will be closely working with Ops, LDT, Service Lines, Transitions, Sales, and other enabling functions.
Responsibilities
Works as Solution SME to understand the business ask and chalks out the technical solution.·Work with a team of LDT, Operations, Customer to unearth business challenges and issues and then lay out the to-be improved processes leveraging data driven solution methodologies which includes technical architecture and business proposal for digital / data led solution deployment.·Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data; work with team to develop solutions leveraging gen AI models, machine learning models, Python automation, Visualization to drive value and customer success.·Understand AWS/Azure/GCP cloud on how to host different solutions, integrate with the complete flow.·Possess understanding and experience on MLOps, LLMOps in Azure, AWS, GCP·Create and maintain insightful automated dashboards and data visualization to track core metrics and extract useful business insights.·Develop stories and presentations to effectively communicate complex analytics and recommend actions.Be a thought partner to cross-functional business partners and evangelize business decisions.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
·Master's degree in an Engineering, Quantitative subject area, related field, or equivalent practical experience.·Strong Experience in domain, data handling and cloud.·Strong leadership experience and stakeholder management.·Strong experience in Machine Learning, deep learning, and statistical data analysis (a/b tests, hypothesis testing, experiment setting, etc.).·Experience with statistical software and packages and database languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI etc.)
Preferred qualifications/Skills
·Experience working with Hi-tech, analytics domain.·Experience with leading large teams having niche skills.·Experience developing and managing project plans and collaborating with teams across geographies and functions.·Ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience, and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.·Creative and innovative thinking, ability to think out of box problem solving.·Results/ action-orientation
