Graduate degree in engineering or equivalent with 7-8 years of experience in Performance Testing with exposure to High Performance Computing (HPC).
An individual contributor, Performance Test Lead with technical depth in Product Testing.
Job Description:
Performance Test Lead in individual contributor role, understands architecture, core functionalities and works with cross functional team.
Plan, understand impact across layers and present Test Plan / Strategy for Platform product factoring stability and Performance.
Proactive, visualizes roadblocks, problem solving and intent to challenge the status quo.
Induct newer methodology for smart Testing, thereby look for avenues to optimize and accelerate release cycles.
Analyze problems and drive long term technology solutions to evolve the product scalability, performance, and supportability.
Skill Set
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
Proficiency in API testing and tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of Stress Stimulus tool for scripting.
Knowledge of different types of performance testing, such as load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, spike testing, volume testing, and scalability testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
As a Performance Test Lead, you will be responsible for evaluating the speed, reliability, scalability, stability, response time, and resource usage of software applications under different workloads and scenarios.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand the business flows and goals and create a test plan and strategy in a multi-tier architecture to ensure that the software meets the performance requirements and expectations of customers and users.
You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks, issues, or risks, and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
Should have knowledge on UNIX/Linux platforms.
Good to have Skills:
Experience in Data Analytics, Market Research for Retail domain
Experience in High Performance Computing ( HPC)
