Kubernetes Lead SME


Experience : 8+ Years of experience

Location : Pan India

Notice Period: 0-30 Days

Roles & Responsibility.

• Experience working with Cloud environments & Containers

• Develop and maintain an advanced platform to manage Kubernetes clusters lifecycle

• Develop tools for automated build, test, deployment and management of the platform

• Developing automation for deployment, maintenance and related tasks using tools/languages, such as, ARGO, Ansible, AWX, Python and Bash.

• Improve continuous integration and delivery systems

• Monitor system events to ensure health, maximum system availability and service quality

• Perform system & application patching

• Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures

• Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines and best practices

• Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards

• Answer user’s query and service requests

• Participate in R&D effort bringing new ideas and new technologies


Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS):

• Provision Kubernetes Services

• Manage Kubernetes Cluster (including Cluster Security)

• Manage Node Pools

• Manage AKS Virtual Networks

• Manage Namespaces

• Manage Workloads, including Pods, and Application Deployments and YAML manifests

• Manage Services and Ingresses Internal to Wipro

• Manage Storage

• Monitor Kubernetes Services health and availability

• Document Kubernetes Service configuration

• Incident, Service Request on Kubernetes Services


Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE):

• Building GKE Cluster

• Admin and Config GKE Cluster

• Admin and Config GKE Cluster Storage

• Admin and Config GKE Cluster Network

• Admin and Config GKE Cluster Security

• GKE Cluster Patch management

• Monitor GKE Cluster services

• Deploy and manage applications on GKE Cluster

• Applications release management

• Monitor applications on GKE Cluster

• Troubleshoot GKE Cluster service


Key Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in ITIL & Agile service delivery

• Leadership experience; prior experience in managing a team is key

• Experience in Major Incident Management process, data center & distribution center management and associated support

• Problem analysis and solving skills

• Planning and organizing, attention to detail
