### Job Description: Scribe Layout Engineer (3-5 Years of Experience)


**Position Title:** Scribe Layout Engineer


#### **Job Summary:**


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scribe Layout Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scribe layout patterns for semiconductor devices, ensuring high precision and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and excellent attention to detail.


#### **Key Responsibilities:**


- **Layout Design:**

- Develop and optimize scribe layouts for semiconductor wafers.

- Ensure layouts meet technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.

- Collaborate with design and process engineers to integrate scribe layouts into overall chip designs.


- **Verification and Validation:**

- Perform design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) checks to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.

- Conduct simulations and stress tests to validate layout integrity under various conditions.


- **Process Optimization:**

- Work closely with fabrication teams to optimize scribe layouts for manufacturability and yield.

- Implement best practices to minimize defects and improve production efficiency.


- **Documentation and Reporting:**

- Create detailed documentation for scribe layout designs, including design specifications, testing protocols, and validation reports.

- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.


- **Technical Support:**

- Provide technical support during the fabrication process, addressing issues related to scribe layouts.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving layout-related problems.


- **Continuous Improvement:**

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in semiconductor layout design.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and methodologies.


#### **Qualifications:**


- **Education:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.


- **Experience:**

- 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor scribe layout design or a similar role.


- **Technical Skills:**

- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor Graphics) for layout design.

- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and design rules.

- Experience with DRC and LVS tools and methodologies.


- **Soft Skills:**

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


#### **Preferred Qualifications:**


- Experience with advanced node technologies.

- Familiarity with automation and scripting for layout design.
