This position is for a cofounder role in Marketing and Sales (with investment or will help fundraise).


About the company and vision

Pahoti is a mental health education platform to mentor and educate- teenagers dealing with exam anxiety and/or those preparing for Engineering or medical entrances, with online lessons on mindfulness and cognitive psychology based techniques. Student stress is real with most students dealing with anxiety, performance pressure and negative self beliefs. This needs to be addressed.


We are looking to solve this problem by offering a combination of online educative lessons (courses) as well as one-on-one and group sessions with mentors/psychologists. We are also building a forum for peer to peer support for students who are sharing this journey together.


(Also interested in bringing mindfulness in the workplace and helping people with serious mental health issues)


Current Founder

I am an NCSU alumni (Engineering) and DU (MCA) and have studied and worked in both India and US. I have experience in technology- Software Engineering, and also product, elearning & content management. I have been a Vipassana meditator since 2001(mindfulness) and have learnt and practised Yoga for many years (Patanjali tradition). I understand the mental health space deeply and enjoy building product and content to help others. I am looking for a cofounder with expertise in marketing, sales and finance. Also currently Pahoti needs funds.


Cofounder Role

The ideal candidate for the cofounder role will be responsible for leading an effective Go-to-market strategy to propel company growth from 0-1. You will help with competitors research, understand market needs, act as a company brand ambassador to external sources, develop multi channel marketing strategies and campaigns (B2C and B2B) to attain traction and Product Market Fit and drive revenue growth. You will also help with fundraising (finance background is a plus)- Pahoti is lacking in funds. Should have good network in the edtech and education industry.


Nota bene

-This is an equity only position.

-You are expected to invest money into the startup.

-Remote working and flexible hours is Ok for the most part.

-Only open to Delhi NCR and Bangalore candidates

 

Responsibilities

  • Market and sell product to B2B and B2C users
  • Work towards online discovery and organic growth through content marketing (website blogs, SEO, instagram, Meta)
  • Ads/performance marketing to get more online users
  • Define, analyze and track performance marketing performance metrics and outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients and partners
  • Manage marketing budget and show project ROI
  • Raise funds
  • Selling the product and other offerings


Qualifications

  • MBA from a premier institute with at least 10 years of relevant marketing and sales experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for mental health and education
