ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE BUSINESS: CIRCOR Industrial LOCATION: COIMBATORE, INDIA DIRECT REPORTING: Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering POSITION DETAILS Position Summary Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC & VMC machines (Turning, Milling with 4th axis) to produce parts as per drawing specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings.(GD&T knowledge) Create and modify CNC programs using G-code and CAM software (Mastercam is added advantage) Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Perform quality checks using measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, bore dials). Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to programs or setups. Maintain equipment and ensure machines are in good working condition. Document production activities and maintain accurate records. Qualifications & Skills: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC (Turning and Milling) operation and programming. Proficiency in G-code and CAM software. Strong understanding of machining principles and material properties. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Preferred Skills: Experience with CNC turning and VMC (4th axis) Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Basic knowledge of ERP systems and production planning.
