NC Programmer (SolidCAM) | 3–5 Years | Manufacturing / AerospaceLocation:Experience: 3–5 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: Manufacturing / AerospaceSoftware Expertise: SolidCAM (Mandatory) About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced NC Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in SolidCAM to support machining operations, toolpath creation, and production optimization. The ideal candidate will have a background in precision manufacturing or aerospace component machining and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality CNC programs that meet engineering and production standards.Key Responsibilities- Develop, validate, and optimize NC/CNC programs using SolidCAM (mandatory requirement).- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing specifications.- Generate efficient toolpaths for milling/turning operations based on design and machining constraints.- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to ensure machining efficiency and part quality.- Work closely with production, design, and quality teams to resolve machining issues and improve cycle times.- Conduct simulation and verification of NC programs to eliminate errors before production.- Support process planning, fixture design, and tool selection activities.- Ensure adherence to aerospace/manufacturing quality and safety standards.- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements to reduce rework and scrap.- Maintain documentation of programs, tools, and process sheets.Mandatory Skills & Requirements- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an NC Programmer.- SolidCAM software proficiency is mandatory.- Strong understanding of CNC machining (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis preferred).- Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace industries.- Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and machining best practices.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Exposure to CAD/CAM integration and simulation tools.
