Job Title: Digital Marketing Designer
Overview: As a Digital Marketing Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging digital assets to support various marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms. Your role involves collaborating with the marketing team and the client to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines, and then translating these requirements into compelling visual content. You will use your design skills and creativity to produce graphics, images, videos, and other multimedia assets that effectively communicate key messages and enhance brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Digital Assets: Create eye-catching graphics, images, videos, animations, and other multimedia content for use in digital marketing campaigns, including social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, display ads, and landing pages.
Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure that all digital assets adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in terms of visual identity, tone, and messaging across different marketing channels.
Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Work closely with marketing managers, content creators, and other stakeholders to understand campaign requirements, target audience demographics, and key messaging, and then translate these insights into effective design solutions.
Conceptualize and Ideate: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts for new marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives, and contribute innovative design concepts that align with campaign objectives.
Optimize for Digital Platforms: Adapt designs for various digital platforms and screen sizes, ensuring optimal display and user experience across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices, and staying updated on the latest design trends and best practices in digital marketing.
Collaborate with Creative Team: Coordinate with other members of the creative team, including graphic designers, copywriters, and videographers, to integrate visual elements seamlessly into overall marketing collateral and ensure a cohesive brand experience.
Test and Iterate: Assist in A/B testing and optimization efforts by creating multiple versions of digital assets and analyzing performance metrics to identify the most effective designs and strategies for achieving campaign objectives.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and design tools in digital marketing and incorporate innovative techniques and approaches into your work to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual communication, digital media, or a related field. Any course completion with the ability to execute will be considered.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Portfolio showcasing previous work samples, demonstrating creativity, versatility, and proficiency in digital design across various platforms and formats.
Ability to undertake work like web design, powerpoint presentation and other marketing collateral
