Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for daily IT procurement tasks, such as creating purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, making alliances with OEMs and negotiating contracts. The role requires strong analytical skills and expertise in procurement processes. The Procurement Specialist will work in our office located in Noida.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Procurement Process:
Manage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the relevant departments to determine purchasing needs.
Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
Cost Management:
Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiency.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all procurement transactions.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide support.
Making alliances with all the IT OEMs:
Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Provide regular updates on procurement activities to management.
Qualifications
Purchase Orders, Supplier Evaluation, and Contract Negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills
Experience in IT procurement processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management
Work Environment
This position typically operates in an office environment but may require occasional travel to suppliers/OEMs or industry events.
The role involves working under tight deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
