A key position within the organization reporting to the Discipline Director in the GEC with a dotted line to the Global Services Director for Environment ServicesResponsible for spearheading digital adoption and innovation in Environmental Services globally leveraging and connecting in-country teams and GEC teamsDrives development and implementation of the digital tools for Site Evaluation & Restoration (SER), Sustainable Operations (SO), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and other environmental services globally through the GECsServe as the central focal point for all digital development initiatives within Environmental Services liaising with the Tech team lead to ensure consistency of approach.Oversee "development teams" focusing on Low Code automation, ensuring efficient workflow and optimized processes.Play a crucial part in harmonizing digital efforts across various Business Areas (BAs) and enhancing overall GEC engagement.Act as the GEC representative on the ES Digital Expert Group, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.Identify and support recruitment efforts to acquire/develop expertise in software tools such as Leapfrog, EVS, GIS, Digital EHS, dashboards, data management, etcDevelop a Center of Excellence in the GEC for all standard ES digital tools.Establishing and consolidating relationships with senior staff in regional offices in different countries, taking ownership of the delivery, and GEC’s digital capabilitiesSupports bids and proposals globally from a digital perspectiveSupport global projects as a technical expert in digitalDrive creativity and independent thinking within your team, including around new digital technologiesManage the delivery of tasks in accordance with Arcadis Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.Ensure that best practices of delivery are adopted and are shared with all relevant teams.

Qualifications & Experience

:

BE Tech/MTech in Environmental/Civil/Computer Engineering or equivalentPost Graduate or MBA preferredIdeally 13+ years of professional experienceStrong technical background in working with and/or developing Digital ToolsProficient in global digital and technology trends related to the environmental sectorUnderstanding of Environment, Sustainability, and H&S businessExperience in managing staff/stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines.Confident in building strong and lasting relationships at a regional and global levelA strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure.Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Flexible to adopt changes and challenges as per business requirements.
