IoT Engineer

Location : Mumbai

What you will do :

  • Conduct site visits, gather requirements, and prepare BOQs, architecture diagrams, and design documentation
  • Build and deploy industrial data collection flows (C++, Python, Node) and configure networking components(routers, switches, gateways, firewalls)
  • Assist in pre-sales, deliver technical presentations, and provide remote troubleshooting for IoT deployments. Work with sales/engineering teams on scalable IIoT solutions and stay updated on protocols and best practices

What we are looking for :

  • Practical experience in BOQ creation, solution architecture, technical support for pre-sales, and site assessments with related reports
  • Hands-on in Node-RED scripting, polling agents, and industrial protocols including Modbus, OPC-UA/DA, Profinet and EtherNet/IP
  • Skilled in IP configuration, VLANs, routing, industrial network troubleshooting, and Linux command-line operations
  • Familiar with PLCs/DCS, industrial automation, and providing customer-facing technical support and troubleshooting

You might have an edge over others if :

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills for technical documentation and direct customer interaction
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Traditional, technical, the guy who relies on tech forums 
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and customer meetings as required
