Lead Software Developer - Enterprise Search Expert
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software development. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, proficiency in .Net Core, and a proven track record in guiding and leading junior developers. Knowledge in Graph DB, vector search, AI, and microservices development is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities :
Lead and guide junior developers in the team, providing technical expertise and mentorship.
Participate in the complete life cycle of software development, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
4 to 5 years of experience in OpenSearch or Elasticsearch to design, implement, and optimize search functionalities are required.
Develop microservices using .NET Core/any language, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
Apply theoretical knowledge related to vector search and AI to enhance system capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Demonstrate expertise in Graph DB and leverage this knowledge to enhance application features.
Utilize programming skills for micro services development when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
6 to 8 years of proven experience in software development.
4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
Strong proficiency in .NET Core/any language with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Solid experience in microservices development with a minimum of 2 years.
Knowledge about Cloud service and technologies is required – AWS/AZURE
Proficiency in SQL Server and SQL programming is a must.
Knowledge of MySQL or Postgres is advantageous.
Familiarity with Graph DB, vector search, and AI concepts is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
