Title: QA Intern
Location : Hyderabad (WFO)
Employment Type : 6 Months of Internship followed by a PPO

Key Responsibilities:
Manual Testing: Assist in executing manual test cases to identify defects in web applications. Document and report bugs in JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Automation Testing: Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium. Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
Regression Testing: Participate in regression testing cycles to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
Data Level Testing: Perform data validation and testing using SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy across the application.
Performance Testing: Learn and assist in performance testing activities using JMeter to evaluate the scalability and performance of web applications.
API Testing: Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured to test APIs for functionality, reliability, and performance.
Test Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and share test results.
Required Skills:
Foundational Knowledge:
Basic understanding of web application testing principles.
Familiarity with both manual and automated testing processes.
Technical Skills:
Automation Testing: Exposure to Selenium.
Data Testing: Basic knowledge of SQL.
Performance Testing: Understanding of JMeter.
API Testing: Experience with Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.
Programming: Familiarity with Core Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Tools & Platforms: Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Charles Proxy.
Testing Techniques: Knowledge of regression testing and data level testing.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate test results and issues effectively.
