About the RoleYou will design and optimize database systems that handle structured, high-frequency operations across multiple dimensions. The role requires deep knowledge of indexing, concurrency, query plans, and schema evolution.Responsibilities- Design schemas to support multi-criteria filtering and high read/write concurrency- Develop indexing strategies, partitioning, and query optimizations- Analyze slow queries and deliver highly efficient alternatives- Work with backend engineers on efficient access patterns- Implement monitoring, integrity checks, and schema versioningRequired Skills- 5–10 years professional SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred)- Expertise in optimizing complex queries at scale- Strong indexing and partitioning knowledge- Experience designing databases for heavy structured-data systems- Ability to anticipate performance issues and architect long-term solutionsThis is a senior technical role.Not appropriate for junior-level candidates.
