About the Role You will design and optimize database systems that handle structured, high-frequency operations across multiple dimensions. The role requires deep knowledge of indexing, concurrency, query plans, and schema evolution. Responsibilities Design schemas to support multi-criteria filtering and high read/write concurrency Develop indexing strategies, partitioning, and query optimizations Analyze slow queries and deliver highly efficient alternatives Work with backend engineers on efficient access patterns Implement monitoring, integrity checks, and schema versioning Required Skills 5–10 years professional SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred) Expertise in optimizing complex queries at scale Strong indexing and partitioning knowledge Experience designing databases for heavy structured-data systems Ability to anticipate performance issues and architect long-term solutions This is a senior technical role. Not appropriate for junior-level candidates.
