Overview :
We require an experienced professional to set up a Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC) capable of receiving inbound/incoming MM4 requests on our server.
The server is an EC2 instance running Ubuntu, with Apache2 installed and configured, PHP 8.1, and other applications. Postfix is also installed to handle incoming messages.
Requirements :
Experience :
- Proven experience in setting up and configuring MMSC, specifically for handling MM4 protocol messages.
- Familiarity with open-source MMSC solutions like Mbuni.
- Experience with SMTP protocol and integration with MMSC.
Server Environment :
1. Operating System: Ubuntu (EC2 instance).
2. Web Server: Apache2.
3. PHP Version: 8.
3. Mail Server: Postfix.
- Other Applications: Various applications are already running on the instance.
Responsibilities :
- Setup and configure the open-source MMSC (Mbuni or other recommended solutions) to handle MM4 inbound messages.
- Ensure seamless integration with Postfix for receiving messages via SMTP.
- Verify and test the configuration to ensure inbound messages are processed correctly.
- Provide documentation on the setup and configuration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the setup.
Additional Information :
- MX records have already been created to receive incoming messages through SMTP, as MM4 works on the SMTP protocol.
- A name record already created "mmsc.360smsapp.net" and set the server IP to it.
Deliverables :
- Fully functional MMSC setup to handle inbound MM4 requests.
- Detailed documentation of the setup and configuration process.
- Testing and validation report to confirm the system is working as expected.
