Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Sales & Strategy based out from Hyderabad for Pan India. The Head of Sales & Strategy will be responsible for managing sales teams, overseeing sales strategies, account management, and implementing sales management tactics on a day-to-day basis.
Role Description and Key Responsibilities:
Role Title: Head of Sales Marketing – Consumer Goods & FMCG
Location: Hyderabad (with travel as required)
Reporting To: Founders – Teadom Ventures Pvt Ltd
Role Overview:Teadom Ventures Pvt Ltd, the parent company behind the renowned speciality chai café brand Chit Chat Chai, is seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead our sales initiatives for our premium tea and botanical blends. This is a critical leadership position aimed at driving growth across Retail, B2B channels, HORECA, and institutional sales, while building a strong distribution network for Chit Chat Chai products.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Strategy & Planning:• Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for expanding Chit Chat Chai’s footprint across B2B, HORECA, and IT sectors.• Define revenue goals and ensure their consistent achievement.
2. Channel Development:• Establish grassroots-level B2B channel relationships.• Create and nurture partnerships in HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering) and IT ecosystems.
3. Market Development:• Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to strengthen brand presence.• Launch creative campaigns to position Chit Chat Chai as a preferred choice in its category.
4. Team Leadership:• Recruit, train, and lead a team of sales professionals to meet aggressive growth targets.• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven sales culture.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:• Partner with Teadom Ventures’ marketing and operations teams to align strategies and optimize product distribution.• Build long-term partnerships with distributors and corporate clients.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting:• Monitor KPIs and ensure continuous improvement in sales performance.• Present periodic reports to Teadom Ventures’ leadership team, highlighting key wins

Analytical Skills and Account Management capabilitiesStrong Sales and Team Management experienceProficiency in Sales ManagementExcellent leadership skills and ability to drive sales strategiesProven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIsEffective communication and negotiation skillsExperience in the food and beverage industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
