Manager, Workday Reporting(Remote)

As a Workday Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of reporting solutions within the Workday platform. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their reporting needs and deliver insightful analytics to support decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday functionality, advanced reporting techniques, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable reports.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and report on business performance.
Stay updated on Workday reporting capabilities and best practices to continuously enhance reporting processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, build, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within the Workday platform.
Optimize reporting solutions to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to understand their reporting needs and provide timely solutions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide training and support as needed.
Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies when handling sensitive information.
Establish data governance standards and best practices to maintain data integrity and security.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, data analysis/analytics, or related fields. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Experience:
Workday certification(s) in Reporting and/or other relevant modules.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Reporting Analyst or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Workday reporting tools such as Workday Report Writer, Workday Prism Analytics, and Workday Calculated Fields.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with HR and/or Finance processes and terminology.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience in the Pharma/CRO/Life Sciences space
Experience with managed service providers
Workday Pro Reporting Certification
