UI Mobile Engineer

Role Overview:- We are looking for an exceptionally skilled UI Mobile Engineer to join our fast-growing, innovative team. As a core member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, visually appealing, and high-performance mobile user interfaces for both iOS and Android platforms.

Your expertise in building pixel-perfect mobile apps using React Native will play a key role in delivering world-class mobile experiences. In collaboration with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will ensure seamless, cross-platform compatibility and optimization of mobile applications.

In this role, you will also stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends in mobile development and UI/UX best practices, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible for our users. You will contribute not only to the app's user interface but also to the overall user experience by solving complex mobile development challenges with precision and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- UI/UX Design Translation : Work closely with designers and product teams to convert high-level UI/UX concepts into well-structured, pixel-perfect, and fully functional React Native mobile apps. Ensure the design vision is implemented accurately while maintaining the flexibility to improve upon it with your own expertise.

- Mobile App Optimization : Optimize app performance for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring fast load times, smooth transitions, and responsiveness across different screen sizes and device configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues proactively.

- Cross-Platform Compatibility : Develop and maintain mobile apps that function seamlessly across iOS and Android platforms. Work with the team to ensure code is reusable, maintainable, and optimized for both platforms.

- API Integration : Integrate and handle third-party APIs efficiently, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization between backend services and the mobile app. Adapt to platform-specific needs for iOS and Android, managing platform-specific UI/UX behaviors.

- UI Development : Focus on implementing visually appealing, functional, and user-centric UI elements that elevate the user experience. Have a deep understanding of mobile UI components, navigation patterns, and common anti-patterns.

- Animations and Transitions : Leverage animations, transitions, and gestures in React Native to create smooth and engaging user experiences. Ensure transitions feel fluid and intuitive while maintaining performance.

- Platform-Specific Adjustments : Adapt your code and app design to cater to the nuances of both iOS and Android, including handling differences in navigation, data storage, and platform-specific features.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with backend engineers to design robust, scalable architectures for mobile apps. Coordinate with QA engineers to perform thorough testing and ensure the app functions flawlessly across devices and operating systems.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies, trends, and design patterns. Actively contribute to improving the app's UI/UX by identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

- Code Quality & Best Practices : Follow industry best practices in mobile app development, including writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code. Ensure the apps meet the highest standards for performance, security, and usability.

- Debugging & Maintenance : Take ownership of bug fixes, updates, and ongoing improvements. Ensure the app's long-term stability by addressing issues quickly and iterating on features to keep the app modern and efficient.

What We're Looking For :

- Expertise in React Native : Strong proficiency in React Native with hands-on experience building and deploying apps for both iOS and Android platforms. You should have a portfolio of work showcasing your mobile UI engineering expertise.

- Design & Aesthetic Sense : Exceptional eye for detail, design, and overall user experience. You have a passion for creating highly polished and beautiful user interfaces and are adept at translating design specifications into interactive mobile interfaces.

- Experience with iOS & Swift : Familiarity with iOS development using Swift and Xcode. Knowledge of iOS-specific libraries, tools, and frameworks, and ability to work with the Cocoa framework and Apple's developer ecosystem.

- Mobile UI/UX Guidelines Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, Google's Material Design Guidelines, and best practices in mobile UI/UX design. You are well-versed in common mobile UX patterns, anti-patterns, and navigation principles.

- Familiarity with Animations & Transitions : Hands-on experience with animations and transitions to create fluid, dynamic, and responsive UI experiences. Knowledge of libraries and frameworks that help you implement complex animations.

- Experience with API Integration : Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications and ensuring proper data flow between front-end and back-end services.

- Understanding of Platform-Specific Needs : Ability to handle platform-specific behaviors (such as push notifications, background tasks, and platform-specific UI components) for both iOS and Android.

- Version Control Proficiency : Experience using Git for version control and collaboration in a team environment. Comfortable with Git workflows such as branching, merging, and pull requests.

- Problem-Solving & Debugging : Strong analytical skills with a knack for troubleshooting, debugging, and solving complex mobile application issues.
