About the Job :

We are seeking a passionate and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for our web and mobile applications.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs and business goals into exceptional design solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality designs in a fast-paced environment. -

Job Overview :

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for the entire design process, from initial concept to final implementation.

Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and accessible to all users.

You will leverage your understanding of user research, interaction design, and visual design to create seamless and delightful user journeys.

Key Responsibilities :

User-Centered Design :

- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.

- Create user personas, user flows, and journey maps to visualize and communicate user experiences.

- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Adobe XD.

Interaction and Visual Design :

- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all platforms.

- Apply principles of Material Design, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS to create responsive and visually appealing designs.

Accessibility and Standards :

- Ensure all designs adhere to WCAG accessibility standards to create inclusive user experiences.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure design feasibility.

- Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.

- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Iterative Design and Testing :

- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experience.

- Analyze user data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Maintain organized design files, and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (BTech preferred).

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.

- Proven track record of designing successful web and mobile applications.

- Portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX skills.

Technical Skills :

- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD.

- Strong understanding of Material Design, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.

- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus).

- Experience with prototyping tools.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for user-centered design.

- Time management, and organizational skills.

Bonus points :

- Experience with user research methodologies.

- Experience with data visualization.

- Knowledge of front-end development principles.
