Role & responsibilities

  • Develops design concepts and produces contract documents based on client needs.
  • Have experience in Furniture Design
  • Meets with clients to program the project requirements.
  • Holds excellent knowledge of design tools, PPT presentation, and AutoCAD.
  • Holds design expertise in Conceptual design (Layout, Style, Moodboard)
  • Technical design (Material knowledge, BOM, Execution, and Drawing Preparation)
  • Modular design (Material knowledge, aesthetics & functionality, module planning)
  • Civil works & Services (specifications & installation details)
  • Holds project expertise in creating BOQ for customers, coordinating with internal & external agencies.
  • Holds sales expertise in Sales Closure by way of logical & trusted Sales pitch, driving and leading the Design meetings with the customers.
  • Holds behavioural attributes of result-oriented, teamwork, Integrity & Ethics, Crisp & meaningful communication.
  • Holds a high degree of willingness to learn, ability to drive performance among independent team members

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in handling multiple projects and should have wide design and detail knowledge.
  • Experience in retail, commercial, hospitality, furniture, and mixed-use preferred, with a portfolio
  • Project management experience, and you should be creative, imaginative, and artistic.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of furniture systems and finishes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar design software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic principles of space planning
  • Creative eye for detail in the preparation of design presentation materials
