Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineer/ Senior Engineers (3-10 Years Experience)
We are looking for a Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineer to join our growing team In this key role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering comprehensive plumbing and fire protection system designs for a wide range of commercial, residential, retail, hospital, and high-rise projects across the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design Plumbing Systems : Develop and design water supply, sewerage, drainage, medical gas, and LPG/NG systems, including necessary hydraulic calculations and detailed layouts.
- Fire Fighting Systems Design : Design sprinkler systems, fire hydrant systems, fire pump and tank systems, and perform hydraulic calculations using Elite software.
- Swimming Pool & Water Feature Design : Prepare design layouts for swimming pools and water features.
- Project Oversight & Team Leadership : Supervise, guide, and review the work of the design team to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Resource Allocation & Budgeting : Efficiently allocate resources, manage project timelines, and ensure design outputs are delivered on budget and on schedule.
- Collaboration & Coordination : Work with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate across functions to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Assurance : Implement and ensure compliance with internal QA/QC procedures and relevant engineering standards (both national and international).
Required Skills & Experience :
- Experience : 6-10 years of experience in the design of plumbing and fire fighting systems for commercial, residential, and high-rise projects. Minimum 4-6 years of experience working on Gulf design projects.
- Technical Proficiency : Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, MS Office, and Elite software for hydraulic calculations.
- Education : B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Standards & Codes : Familiarity with international engineering codes, practices, and authority guidelines.
- Leadership : Ability to lead a team, allocate resources effectively, and oversee project delivery while maintaining quality.
- Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
