Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Digital Health Project Officers to join the Digital Health Division.   Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our five main campuses:  Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  About the Role:   The Digital Health Project Officer within the Digital Health Division plays a pivotal part in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of digital health initiatives and EMR projects that improve clinical workflows, enhance patient care, and strengthen operational efficiency. Working closely with the EMR Projects & Quality Manager, Associate Director Digital Health Solutions & Vendor Manager, project managers, clinical teams, digital staff, and external vendors, the Project Officer ensures digital health and EMR projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational strategy. Responsibilities include research and evaluation activities, preparation of project documentation, tracking of milestones, stakeholder engagement, and supporting change management to enable successful adoption of digital solutions across the organisation.  To be successful in this role you will have:  A tertiary degree in healthcare, or science related field (equivalent)  A clinical or other health related background, with an interest in computerised workflows, best practice, innovation, clinical documentation and healthcare informatics  Demonstrated experience working in a metropolitan hospital environment and understanding of clinical workflows in the acute and subacute inpatient settings  Critical thinking, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate and understand issues that may have clinical implications  Experience using common business analysis software such as Microsoft excel  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders within the organisation with an eye for detail  Next Steps . . .  If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
