We are an integral part of Crane NXT , a $2 billion dollar business with over 5,000 associatesPosition Summary & ObjectiveThe Account Payable (AP) play a crucial role in managing and processing all incoming invoices and payments within the Company. This role ensures accurate and timely payments to vendors, reconciles accounts and maintains financial records. The account payable analyst works closely with other departments to resolve payment issues, manage vendor relationships and support the company’s financial operations.Essential Functions Performed by the PositionReview, Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness and proper authorizations.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure proper documentation.Communicate with Vendors and departs to resolve payment issues and answer questions.Assist in month- end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts.Ensure compliances with Company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.Maintain vendor records and account information securely.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents.Monitor the accounts payable aging report ensure timely payments.Identify opportunities for process improvements in the accounts payable functions.Conceives ideas for solutions and participates in the resolution of issues.Resolves conflict problems escalated by associates.DisclaimerThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
