Who We’re Looking For:

Based in our Bangalore, India office, the VP, Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategic financial management of a specific geographical region within the organization. This role requires a seasoned financial leader with a strong understanding of regional economic trends, regulatory environments, and business dynamics. The VP, Finance, will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.

About the Role :

Develop and implement financial planning processes for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Provide insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making. Identify and assess financial risks within the region and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and industry standards. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports for the region. Communicate financial performance and key metrics to the executive team and stakeholders. Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and execute regional financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Evaluate and advise on potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions within the region. Optimize resource allocation to achieve financial goals and operational efficiency. Work with department heads to ensure proper utilization of financial resources. Monitor and manage cash flow within the region to ensure liquidity and financial stability. Implement effective treasury management practices. Lead a high-performing regional finance team, providing guidance and mentorship. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and auditors.

Minimum Experience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CGMA) is highly desirable. Proven experience as a Finance Leader, preferably with regional or multi-national responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of APAC regional financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
