Job Overview
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team at Transmarine Cargo. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets. This role is based in Gandhidham, Gujarat, India and is a full-time position. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry.
Qualifications and Skills
1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industryProven track record of achieving sales targetsStrong negotiation and closing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of freight forwarding and logisticsExperience with CRM softwareAbility to build and maintain relationships with clientsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesLeadership and team management skills
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growthIdentify and engage with potential clients to generate new leadsMaintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retentionMeet and exceed sales targets and KPIsPrepare sales reports and forecasts, and analyze sales dataStay up-to-date with industry trends and competitorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer serviceManage and mentor a team of sales executives
Qualifications
Excellent analytical skillsStrong communication skills - written and verbalProven track record in lead generation and salesExperience in conducting research on markets and customersExceptional customer service skillsBachelor's or Masters in degree in Business, Marketing or related fieldExperience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry is a must.Fluency in spoken and written English, Hindi and GuajaratiInternational sales experience is an added advantage
