Designation: Regional/Area Credit Manager – Construction Finance Vertical

Location: Hyderabad

The Regional/Area Credit Manager will be responsible for evaluating and processing construction finance proposals, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and monitoring the credit portfolio post-sanction. This role demands a deep understanding of project finance, the local real estate market, and the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.- Experience: 4-5 years in credit underwriting, specifically in Construction Finance.- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the local real estate market, trends, and regulations. Local candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proposal Processing:

- Conduct pre-sanction visits for project evaluation.- Prepare Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs) based on detailed financial and project analysis.- Coordinate with external agencies such as lawyers and valuers, and internal teams like business, legal, operations, and risk control units.

1. Credit Monitoring:

- Verify and analyze customer and project credentials to assess risk.- Facilitate disbursements, including tranche releases and fund transfers.- Conduct post-sanction monitoring, including NOC processing, fund utilization tracking, and periodic site visits.

1. Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure seamless processing and monitoring of credit facilities.- Provide solutions to challenges within regulatory and policy frameworks.

1. Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure all activities comply with internal credit policies and external regulations.- Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular updates on the portfolio's health.
