Civil Estimator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Civil Estimator to support U.S.-based residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading civil/site plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and preparing accurate cost estimates using tools such as PlanSwift , Bluebeam , or OST .

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze civil/site drawings and specifications for residential and commercial projects.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for site development, grading, utilities, paving, and drainage.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using estimation software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, OST).
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope clarifications.
• Prepare bid proposals and assist with value engineering when required.
• Maintain cost databases and historical records.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in civil estimating for U.S. residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in PlanSwift , Bluebeam Revu , or On-Screen Takeoff (OST) .
• Strong understanding of site development, grading, and utility systems.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and architectural plans.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with local building codes and U.S. construction practices.
• Experience working with GC/Developer estimating teams.
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
