Key Responsibilities

• AI Solution Architecture & Agentic AI: Design end-to-end AI solutions using OpenAI, LangChain, and proprietary frameworks. Build production RAG systems, chatbots, and data pipelines with agentic workflows for autonomous planning, retrieval, and tool-calling.
• Backend Systems & APIs: Build scalable APIs and microservices (FastAPI), integrating multiple LLM providers (Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Gemini). Develop vector search solutions (Azure AI Search/Vertex AI/PgVector) with streaming and caching optimisation.
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring : Lead 1–3 engineers (scaling to 5), own AI architecture/implementation decisions, and drive cross-functional integration into enterprise workflows. Mentor juniors and run code reviews.
• DevOps & Infrastructure Management : Design CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps). Provision infrastructure via Terraform. Deploy AI applications using Docker/Kubernetes/Azure Container Apps with automated deployment and monitoring.
• Engineering Excellence: Enforce SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns. Champion CI/CD quality gates, comprehensive testing, and secure-by-default development with clear documentation.
• System Architecture & Integration: Architect agentic AI workflows (planner-executor, multi-agent, tool-use) over RAG stacks; implement hybrid search with rerankers, semantic & prompt caching, and intelligent routing; enforce guardrails and SLOs for secure, reliable, cost-efficient enterprise integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• AI/LLM: Production RAG systems, agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, chatbots. Proficient in Azure AI Search, Pinecone and FAISS.
• Backend: 4+ years Python (FastAPI/Django/Litestar), REST APIs, microservices, design patterns.
• Leadership : 2+ years leading engineering teams (1-5 engineers). Experience in stakeholder presentations and technical decision ownership.
• Cloud/DevOps: Azure services (AKS, App Services, Key Vault, AD), Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), secure coding practices.
• Practices: Unit testing, automated testing, Git workflows, SOLID, clean code standards.

Nice-to-Have

• Azure Certifications(Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
• Microsoft ecosystem integration (Teams/SharePoint/Graph API).
• Experience with reinforcement learning, Multi agentic swarm systems, and custom model training.
• Active contributions to open-source AI/DevOps projects.
